Kenworth Sales Faculty & Staff Team Challenge 

Get ready for some friendly competition and a chance to make a big impact on SLCC students! For a second year, our friends at Kenworth Sales are sponsoring this challenge and we invite departments, committees, student clubs, and athletic teams across SLCC to join the Kenworth Sales Giving Day Team Challenge and help recruit more donors to give more to the six Giving Day areas. Your team could win a monetary prize that will go directly to your department or program to fund an initiative that benefits students or supports SLCC’s mission. 

TOP-5 TEAM PRIZES
During the Kenworth Sales Giving Day Team Challenge, we’ll offer prizes to the top-5 teams in two categories! There will be $5,000 prizes for the top-5 teams who recruit the most unique donors and also for the top-5 teams who raise the most money. To qualify for prizes, your team must have at least 25 unique donors to win a top-number-of-donors prize and raise $2,500 to win a most-funds-raised prize.

Bonus: If your team ranks in the top 5 in both categories, you could win $10,000! 

Note: All Giving Day donations will go to the following funding priorities as selected by donors: Child Care Program, Bruin Emergency Fund, PACE Scholarship Program, Bruin Pantries, General Scholarships, and Bruin Dreams Scholarship Program. 

HOW TO PARTICIPATE

  1. To register your team, complete the form above. The earlier you register and begin asking your network to support SLCC students and your team, the better chance you’ll have to win a Top-5 prize! 
  2. Registrations will be reviewed by the Development Office for alignment with SLCC policy and mission. 
  3. After registering, qualifying teams will receive an email with your team’s unique URL which will track all donations credited to your team. Please distribute this link to your network—family, friends, colleagues—when you ask them to support SLCC students and help your team win the challenge! 
  4. Employee Giving counts too! Any employee who starts a recurring payroll deduction between now and February 19, 2026, will be included in Giving Day totals. Submit your recurring payroll deduction by completing SLCC's etrieve DEV - Employee Giving Form.
